The ultimate executive chair

Wuppertal, 4 June 2012 After the world's most luxurious chair was presented "like a star" (Stern.de, 2006) at Orgatec, the world's largest office furniture fair, in Cologne in 2006, the production of the ultimate executive chair is now entering its second round. With its surface finishing service, IsoProfil from Wuppertal is once again involved as a partner.

The chair created by a Hamburg-based product designer is an award winner and is considered to be the most successful office chair in Germany. It is gold-plated from the backrest to the castors; the seat is covered with silk and, if that is not enough, your piece of office furniture can be decorated with diamonds. The price tag is €50,000, but the sky is actually the limit! The trend in the industry is clear: office furniture is becoming increasingly individual and luxurious.
 
When it comes to individual and luxurious high-tech products, IsoProfil from Wuppertal feels very much at home in the field.  The system developer has been manufacturing profiles and assemblies made to special dimensions since 1983. The finishing of surfaces –with gold for example – is one of the firm’s core competencies.  "Normally, we manufacture prototypes and series elements for the architectural industry, renewable energies or aerospace. This luxury office chair is really something extraordinary," explains Dieter Sander, managing director, who is delighted about the cooperation. And there is yet another reason for joy: this year, IsoProfil is commemorating its foundation 30 years ago. Well, if that isn't cause for celebration.
