IsoProfil is increasingly supporting the development of housing systems for battery cells. A wide range of process technologies made from aluminium and copper components are being used to ensure effective and efficient thermal management. Thermodynamic investigations are being used to optimise the form and material properties of the housings. Innovative cooling concepts and weight reduction as well as the use of special aluminium alloys play a major role here. High moments of inertia and good stiffness properties have already been achieved and are constantly being enhanced
