IsoProfil uses specially developed production facilities for the series manufacture of medium and large batch sizes. Reliable just-in-time delivery allows us to minimise inventory costs and directly pass these savings on to our customers.
Right in the middle of the action: In Germany, our location is in North Rhine-Westphalia, one of the strongest industrial regions in Europe. Wuppertal has been our home for almost 40 years and our customers still benefit from the strategically ideal location in the Bergisches Land region between the Ruhr area and the Rhineland.
IsoProfil GmbH & Co. KG was established in 1983 by Dipl.-Ing. Dieter Sander, a qualified engineer and the managing sole shareholder. The company’s headquarters in Wuppertal are located in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia in the industrialised Bergisches Land region between the Ruhr and the Rhineland. The company is family-owned and is a member of the Berlin-based German Association of Family Entrepreneurs.
In the first two decades of its existence, the company mainly focused on the development and manufacture of spacers – metal profiles for windows which are located in the interior space of an insulating glass pane. These profiles quickly gained in popularity under the “IsoProfil” brand, not least due to their good working properties and cost efficiency. Today, this patented product is still widely known in the relevant business segments and customer groups as “The IsoProfil”. The spacers along with mainly extruded special profiles made of aluminium, brass, steel and copper are currently manufactured on special internally designed roll forming machines equipped with CO2 lasers and solid-state lasers.
New product groups were added in the following years. In addition to the previously mentioned spacers, IsoProfil’s services in the areas of engineering, project planning and manufacture turned to job lots and prototypes prior to series production.
IsoProfil’s services include advice, inspection, planning and implementation – also with a performance guarantee after delivery based on the scope of responsibility.
Today, the company regards itself as more than a manufacturer of profiles and profile systems, having diversified into an application consultant for a wide range of component and profile solutions. This service is highly valued by many of our partners who require the building of prototypes. With decades of experience, our employees possess the specialist and strategic know-how to solve our customers’ challenges no matter the project.
Quality assurance is an important priority for us and we are always guided by the individual wishes of our customers. Possible errors and vulnerabilities are identified at the outset in accordance with the customary quality management guidelines, for example the FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) system, and excluded at the planning and development stage. We regard these regular quality and assurance checks as indispensable in order to guarantee that you receive optimised test values and cost-effective manufacturing of your product.

Every workpiece or component that leaves our company undergoes comprehensive and documented product and quality assurance. On request, all parts are manually checked and optimised in great detail, a service which is of particular benefit for the manufacture of luxury goods. We have been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1998 and thereby fulfil international quality criteria. The feedback we receive from our regular surveys of customers and suppliers confirms their satisfaction with our quality.

While we use raw materials like steel, stainless steel, brass, copper and plastic, we rely most of all on aluminium. This metal is particularly resistant to corrosion, low in density, easy to process and highly suitable for recycling.
