A heated to forming temperature pellet (round, oval or rectangular) of desired raw material is pushed by a stamping through a forming die at high pressure, generally hydraulically. The external shape of the profile to be produced is determined by outer contour of the die. By setting a shaped mandrel (extendet tool circumference) can be shaped cavaties generated in profiles.
- max. circumscribing circle Ø 600 mm
- weight per meter up to 24 kg/m, in conjuction (e.g. Friction stir welding) up to 48 kg
Extruded profiles are used in numerous fields of applications:
- Building industries
- and much more
